FMH helps refrigeration manufacturer move ahead of industry curve.

The Challenge

AIR faces the challenge of delivering a modernized, highly technical product to a refrigeration industry somewhat antiquated in technology. AIR saw the need to move ahead of the curve by implementing PLC-controlled systems that could expand or be modified as customer requirements changed.

The Solution

FMH integrated several employees with the AIR design team, where FMH’s design and automation experience allowed for a seamless move into PLC systems. AIR and FMH extended their partnership by jointly sending employees from each company to training to better increase their understanding of refrigeration and automation as it relates to this industry.

The Results

AIR has been able to install cutting edge reliable automation and control systems, designed to be easily adapted for future expansions of their customer’s facilities, thereby reducing the costs of future engineering and design.
